DEAF MINISTRIES & CHRISTIAN DEAF SERVICES

Deaf Ministries: Conway UMC is one of the few churches in the Orlando area whose services are interpreted at all Sunday services.  American Sign Language is used.  We also have tactile signing (signing in the hands for deaf/blind).  A class to learn American Sign Language is ongoing and welcomes new participants.  This class also expands into a signing choir that participates with the Chancel Choir in seasonal programs such as the Easter and Christmas cantatas.  There is a Deaf Chapel held on the last Sunday of the month at 9:45 am.  You are invited to participate in our services in whatever way best satisfies your needs.

If you would like more information please contact Mary Harris (407-273-6565) or call the church office (407-277-5010).

CHRISTIAN DEAF SERVICES: Under the direction of Debbie Bennett this service ministry is helping the Central Florida Deaf community with 1) phone calls, 2) inquires about bill payments, 3) job rights, 4) health issues, 5) social security and 6) much more.  If you can help or need help, call the church office (407-277-5010) or you can email Debbie at conwaydeafministry@cfl.rr.com.
