Rummage Sale on Saturday, April 12th!!!

 

Help make the rummage sale in support our youth program here at Conway United Methodist Church a success by bringing any items from the following categories to the Family Life Center stage:

 

Men's clothing, women's clothing, children's clothing, baby clothing, shoes, purses/bags/belts/ties, women's accessories/jewelry, any furniture in good condition INCLUDING lawn furniture, small working kitchen appliances, electronics, audio/visual equipment,  computer software and games, knicknacks, kitchen stuff, lamps, linens, Christmas decorations, books, cds, videos, dvds, tapes, records, toys, stuffed animals (please throw in the washing machine prior to donating), games, sporting equipment, rugs (in good condition), artwork, craft items/materials, and tools INCLUDING working power tools).  Any unique or interesting items that don't fit in above categories are welcome as long as they are in good condition. 

 

!!!Please NO large workout machines, large appliances, or furniture in poor condition. Poor condition is missing parts (ex: legs, shelves, handles, hinges, etc.), torn, ripped, stained or soiled. Baby furniture or equipment do not bring if it is in any questionable condition at all.  Help keep little ones safe!!! 

*Antique furniture can be accepted in any condition.  Please clearly indicate it is an antique with a note and any information you may have as to indicate age.

 

Please drop off items starting March 23rd and continuing through April 11th  to the Family Life Center stage. 

 

For the ease of the office please drop off items on:

 

Monday and Friday between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. (during youth interim regular office hours)

Wednesday 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. (Youth Bible Study time) 

Sunday 8:30 a.m. - 11:45 p.m. (church time)

Sunday 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. (youth group time)

or call 407-222-2916 to schedule a drop off if you need access to the FLC.

 

Please Note that all Instructions, Manuals, and Original Boxes Bump Up Sales!!!!!

If it came with instructions, manuals, or you still have the original box for your small kitchen appliances, electronics, computers, printers, CDs, DVDs, Videos, etc. it will help us if you give them away as well!  Remember, a little instruction information makes items easier to sell!!!!

 

Got Anything Else that is Interesting?

Interesting/Unique/Novelty Items like the following sell well:  bottles (big, small, miniature, old medicine bottles, and old fruit jars), baseball cards, comic books, old fashioned bonnets, unique salt & pepper shakers, needlework, dolls, doll clothing and accessories (especially for Barbie), bikes, cut glass/crystal items, electric razors, blow dryers, hair flat irons, roller blades, old signage (especially Coca-cola and Pepsi), photography equipment, canoeing equipment, fishing equipment, camping equipment, gardening tools and supplies, mirrors, musical instruments, car models, homemade items, and action figures. 

 

Your Help through Donations and Advertising to Friends/Neighbors all goes to Support our YouthProceeds will benefit youth who want to go on our planned summer trips and to fund necessary associated non-budgeted costs.

 

BROWN BAGS WANTED!

Okay so one man's trash is another man's treasure.  Brown grocery bags are needed for our Rummage Sale Shoppers.  You may drop these off at the church office during regular office hours.
