Sunday
School
|
|
The Sunday School Ministry is Conway UMC's most comprehensive
Christian Education Ministry. Children, youth and adults gather to
strengthen their spiritual self, share with fellow persons and develop those
inner bonds that truly represent the meanings of the Church. Each class
represents a unique way to connect - with their community, other believers, a
passion, a need, or an area of interest. You are invited to contact the
person connected with the group you think interests you or even to begin your
own personal ministry. Others may connect by witnessing your response to
how God asked you to serve.
Why do we attend? 1) God Loves us, so
He wants us to share His love. 2) God wants us to be members of His community
and fellowship of believers, 3) Tradition! That's where we should be on the
Lord's day! 4) Obligation; to ourselves to learn more about the Bible, God the
creator, Jesus the Savoir, and the Holy Spirit the Enabler. 5) Share the love
and all that God has given us as together we become better disciples of Christ.
6) Learn more about God's kingdom to prepare us to witness for Him. 7) Join our
friends in God's house and in group activities for social satisfaction and
acceptance that we all need. 8) Feed us Spiritually in preparation to face all
that life presents. Can you add others? |
