Sunday Mornings for Children

Children's Moment
During both services, there is a "children's time." This is an opportunity for children of all ages to come to the front and interact with the Children's Minister or another adult in an abbreviated message, usually based on the Bible reading for that Sunday. Children who are not yet in Kindergarten or younger may be taken to the infant, toddler, or preschool nurseries immediately following the Children's moment in the service.

Children's Worship Crates
There are Children's Worship Crates located on the counter in the church lobby. The worship crates contain crayons, colored pencils, and clipboards to keep your child involved during the service.

Nursery
Available for both Services and Sunday School
Infant and Toddler Nurseries: These rooms offer age appropriate Bible stories, toys, and visuals. We employ two paid child care workers.

Children's Church
Children who are 5 years old and beyond remain in the sanctuary for the full worship service during the 8:30 service. After the Children's Moment during the 11:00 service, children 3 years old through 5th grade are invited to attend Children's Church, located in room 20 of the Education Building.

Holy Communion
On the first Sunday of each month (and at other times, according to the litrugical cycle), Holy Communion is a part of the worship service. Every child is invited to participate in this service with his/her grown-ups.

Sunday School Classes
Sunday School classes begin at 9:45 and end at 10:45. We offer preschool (3 years - kindergarten) in room 11 of the Education building, and elementary (1st-5th grade) in room 4.
